Obituary
Nancy Darlene Sharpe Cook, 75, of Chappells, wife of Donald Lewis Cook, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood, SC she was a daughter of the late Hugh Clarence Sharpe and Macy Edwards Sharpe. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and tending to her plants.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by her children, Kenny Edwards (Lori), Jeffery Edwards (Anna), Marian Merchant, Jenny Taylor (Jeff), and Jesse Cook (Jennifer); sisters, Mary Rowe and Nina Caughman; grandchildren, Justin, Amber, Courtney, Taylor, Kalleigh, and Jordan Cook, Jesli Pou, JJ Brewer, Dalton Taylor, Danielle Guy, Andrea, Patrick, Lacy, Jacob, Andrew, and Meredith Edwards; and twenty four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Cook, Jr; sister, Gail Wilson; and brothers, Billy and Wayne Sharpe.
Services will be held at a later date.
