Nancy Summey Corley, 68, of 114 Merriman Avenue, wife of James N. Corley, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Roy D. and Georgie Satcher Summey. She was retired from the Greenwood County Health Department and was a member the Mathews Memories. Nancy was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Martha Henderson Sunday School Class and the church choir. Surviving is her husband of the home; her children, Robby Corley and his wife, Karla, of Charleston, Ginger Carter and her husband, Scott, and Gina Wood and her husband, Brian, all of Greenwood; two brothers, Bryan Summey and his wife, Theresa, of Greenwood and Danny Summey and his wife, Gayle, of Honea Path, grandchildren: Jaxon Carter, Ryan Leigh Skidmore, Madelyn Wood, Patrick Wood and Crystal Carter; two great grandchildren, Gracie and Parker Holley; and a special friend, Linda Vehorn. Pallbearers will be Robert Timmerman, Richey Summey, Hilton Dodgen, Jr., Scott Carter, Brian Wood and Clifton Eakin. Honorary escort will be the choir members of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, the members of Mathews Memories and Nancy�s friends and co-workers from the Greenwood County Health Department.
