Nancy Thelma Broome Fleming, 83, of 237 Blyth Road, formerly of 504 Chace Ave, widow of Earl W. Fleming, died Friday, February 20, 2015. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Rufus F. Broome and Rosemond Bagwell Broom. Nancy retired from Greenwood Mills- Harris Plant. She was a member of the Mary Pinkney Ouzts Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star where she was very active until her health declined. Nancy was a devoted Christian and a member of Mathews United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. Surviving are her children, Kenneth E. Fleming (Carol) of Donalds, Thelma Chapman, Kathy Coffee (Sidney) and Dale Fleming (Christie), all of Greenwood; two sisters, Beatrice Lackey of Belton and Sadie Pack (Albert) of Pauline; two brothers, John Broome (Catherine) of Port Orchard, WA and Bill Broome of Belton; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Christopher Rose, Charlie Coffee, Brandon Coffee, Rodney Page, Chace Price and Dale Fleming, II. The family is at the home.
