Nancy Harter's Obituary
Nancy Lee Harter, 62, of 1011 Chinquapin Road, died Monday, March 27, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Prince Frederick and Bessie Viola Williams Yates. She was a maintenance technician at Geodis and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her children, Chris Cockrell, Jessica Cockrell, and Angela Weeks, all of Greenwood; sisters, Jackie Covington of Ninety Six, Rachel Harrison of Greenwood, and Melissa Jimenez of NC; a brother, Leonard Yates of Greenwood; twelve grandchildren, Brittany Weeks, Destiny Cockrell, Emma Cockrell, Caleb Weeks, Connor Weeks, Leighanna Cockrell, Kaylie Cockrell, Aylissa Cockrell, Landen Lawton, Ashton Lawton, Michael Wallace, and Jacob Cockrell; and two great grandchildren, Emmett Salters and Azelynn Cockrell.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul Allen Yates.
Services are private.
The family members are at their respective homes.
