Nathaniel Howard, 71, of 414 B Greene Street, Greenwood, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Edward Howard and Mary Lue Cullens Howard Cromer. Nathaniel was formerly employed with Chickasaw Manufacturing and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his sister, Wilma Edwards; three brothers, Wayne Cromer, Larry Cromer, both of Hodges and Bobby Cromer of Columbus, OH; along with several nieces and nephews whom he cherished.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on Friday at Grace Community Church with the Rev. Keith Cromer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
