Nell Davis Boone, 90, widow of Rev. Harold Kenneth Boone, died Sunday, November 26, 2023 at her home.

Born in Winnsboro, SC, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Julia Kate Wolling Davis. She received her Masters degree in Religion from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY and her Masters degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University. She taught elementary school for 31 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her children, Kendra Keeney (Bill) and Kenneth Davis Boone (Elizabeth) and a brother, John G. Davis (Cecille), all of Greenwood; grandchildren, Julie Kate Keeney, Davis Keeney (Kelsey), Julia Boone, Blake Boone and Matthew Smith; a great granddaughter, Sybil Keeney; and a number of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jeff Lethco officiating.

Family members are at their respective homes.
