Obituary
Edith Wynell "Nell" Higgins Clevenger, 93, formerly of 130 Shearbrook Drive, widow of Charles William "Charlie" Clevenger, died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Hospice House.
Born in Gainesville, GA, she moved to Piedmont as a child, then later moved to Greenwood in 1955. She retired from Greenwood Mills, Durst Plant, following 30 years of service. She was a member of Fraser Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Charles "Phil" Clevenger and Terry Clevenger, both of Greenwood; and her beloved granddaughter, Caroline Clevenger of Atlanta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Services will be private.
It is requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Hospice House, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
