Marjorie Lunell "Nell" Smith, 88, formerly of Davis Street, died on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Dahlia Timms Cannon. Marjorie was a graduate of Greenwood High School and attended Piedmont Technical College. She retired from National Health Care as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was formerly employed by Moore Business Forms. She was a member of the Federation of the Blind. Marjorie was a lifelong member of South Main Street Baptist Church and also attended Grace Community Church and Parkland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Wayne Smith; her former husband, Dwight Smith and two brothers, Bobby Gene Cannon and Howard Cannon.

Surviving are her children, Tina Smith Johnson (Danny), Kimberly Smith Freeman, Timothy Wayne Smith, and Bobby Gene Smith (Glend); a brother, Lee Cannon; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Noahleen Berry officiating. Burial will be in private.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Tina Johnson, 108 Brentwood Drive.
