Nellie Roberts Hammond, 81, of 113 Henderson Street, wife of Stanley Thomas Hammond, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Allen and Kizzie Gertrude Bonds Roberts. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of God faith. Surviving is her husband of the home; two daughters, Sheila Werts (Doug) and Maxine Horne (Mike), both of Ninety Six; two sons, Thomas Hammond (Lottie) of Greenwood and Mike Hammond (Shana) of Mauldin; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be T. J. Collins, Bryan Werts, Mike Horne, Wayne Boddie, Colten Brewer and Jamie Brewer. The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Kris Brewer, 623 Stonewood Drive, Greenwood.
