Nellie Caroline Hagood Whitt, 84, widow of Joseph Bramlett Whitt, Sr. began her life in heaven on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in the home of her daughter, Gloria Whitt. Born in Calhoun Falls, SC she was a daughter to the late Henry Grady & Reba Bosler Hagood. She was a true matriarch of her family and servant of the Lord and will be tremendously missed by those who knew and loved her. Nellie was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Hagood. She has left a legacy through her children: Joseph B. Whitt, Jr. (Tommie Hamlin Whitt) of Mauldin, Cheryl Whitt Kinard of Goose Creek, John A. Whitt (Judith Turner Whitt) of Summerville, Nancy Whitt Parlier (Kevin Parlier) of Wanamingo, MN, Kathy Whitt Manche (Johnny Manche) of River Falls, WI, and Gloria Whitt (Jack Major) of Winston-Salem, NC. Her legacy continues on through the lives of her nineteen grandchildren, and six (soon to be seven) great grandchildren and surviving also a sister Elizabeth Lowe; two brothers, Carroll Hagood and Toby Hagood (Patsy).
