Obituary
Nina Pamila Downey Bates, 39, of 1609 East Laurel Avenue, Greenwood, wife of Andrew Bates, died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at her home.
Born in El Paso, TX, she was a daughter of Hongsuk "Sunny" Yi Lollis and the late Paul Lacy Downey. Nina worked for IHOP and attended New Spring Church.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy A. Bates.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Laurens and her mother of Williamson, are a daughter, Autumn Falkingham of Piedmont; a sister, Lisa Cho Potter of Williamston; a brother, Paul Jason Downey Williamston; and six nephews and nieces.
A family service will be held.
The family members are at their respective homes.
