Nira Weeks Miles, 82, of 312 Briarwood Road, widow of James Keith Miles, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late John Allen and Maggie Walker Weeks. She retired from Abney Mill and attended Fountain of Life Worship Center.

Surviving are her children, Sherry Trail (Johnny) of Waterloo, Tina Duff (Charles Jr.), and Brain Miles (Stephanie), both of Greenwood; brother, Lester Weeks (Bobbie); sisters-in-law, Gail Weeks and Ruenette Weeks; brother-in-law, Joe Rogers, all of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Katelyn Trail of Waterloo, Julianna Trail of Winston Salem, NC, and Charlie Duff of Greenwood; and two great grandchildren, Allister Beaudoin and Serenity Beaudoin, both of Winston Salem, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Mary Scott, Virginia Rogers, and Jean Pressley; brothers, Ralph Weeks, James Weeks, and Billy Weeks; and granddaughter, Stephanie Trail.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robbie Brissey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Tim Pressley, Mike Weeks, Rodger Young, Jim Davis, Charlie Duff, and Barry Mayfield.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
