O. V. Davis, 83, of 312 Fern Cliff Drive, widower of Eva Adams Davis, died Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, SC. Born in Graham County, NC, he was a son of the late Wayne and Bertha Orr Davis. He retired from Champion Paper and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, Greenwood, and the Adult Sunday School Class. Mr. Davis was twice married, first to the late Dorothy Clontz Davis and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Gail Davis and Patricia Davis; and a brother, Richard Davis. Surviving are two daughters, Frances Turbyfill of Mt. Holly, NC and Joyce Hall of Hayden, ID; a son, Donald Davis of Greenwood, SC; sisters, Marie Carver and Janice Stewart, both of Robinsville, NC and Thelma Morgan of Easley, SC; brother, Jimmy Davis of Robinsville, NC; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
