David Oliver "Ollie" Hayes, 85, died on October 23, 2021 and his wife, Carol Ann Haffner Hayes, 80, died on November 4, 2021.

Oliver was born on October 6, 1936, a son of the late Victor Wilson and Pansy Springsteen Hayes. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Stephen E. Hayes and Jonathan D. Hayes and brothers-in-law, Donald Wilkinson and J.J. Brown.

He is survived by his sons, Kelvin Hayes and Nathan Hayes; daughters, Laurita Hayes and Adella Hayes; grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Brown, Ruth Wilkinson and Laura Gladson (Jerry); four nephews and five nieces.

Carol was born on December 22, 1940 and was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her brother, Harold Haffner and a nephew, Jeff Haffner and additional nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Kinard United Methodist Church, 2217 Highway 248, Ninety Six, SC with the Rev. Jerry Gladson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
