Jacob Patterson Hunnicutt, Jr., 87, formerly of Greenwood, died March 6, 2013 at the Medical College of Georgia. Born in Calhoun Falls, SC on April 15, 1925, he was the son of the late Jacob Patterson Hunnicutt, Sr. and Fannie Mae Turner Hunnicutt. Pat was a U. S. Marine and U. S. Army veteran, serving during both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was an electrician and a member of South Greenwood Church of God. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles B. Hunnicutt and by a sister, Frances H. Hughey. Surviving are a niece, Susan H. Motte and her husband Mike of Greenwood; great nephews, Chris Motte (Debbie) of Greenwood and Casey Motte (Misti) of Boiling Springs, SC; four great-great nieces and a great-great nephew. The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials may be made to a charity of one�s choice.
