Obituary

Patricia "Pat" Ann Ferqueron Clary, 81, of Greenwood, widow of Thomas Howard Clary, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at her home.

Born on August 6, 1945 in McCormick, she was a daughter of the late Ollie Ferqueron and Gladys Irene Whitten Ferqueron.

A deeply loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her family was the heart and center of her world. For Pat, family was everything. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time surrounded by her loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. An excellent cook, Pat’s favorite way to show her love was through her food. She delighted in gathering everyone around the table for a rich, homemade meal, making sure no one ever left hungry.

Pat appreciated the simple, beautiful pleasures in life. She found peace outdoors tending to her vibrant flower gardens and kept her mind sharp working on her favorite puzzles. If you stopped by her house, you were almost guaranteed to find Gunsmoke or Bonanza playing on the television, a comforting backdrop to many warm visits.

She loved the cozy moments best; enjoying a good piece of pizza or sitting down to have a hot cup of coffee alongside a slice of apple pie. Her welcoming nature, gentle spirit, and deep love for her family will be missed beyond measure.

She is survived by her children, Kim Falls (Johnny), Michael Thomas Clary (Tracy), Deborah Ashley (Keith), and Tammy Gary (Owens); sister, Roberta Salters (Bill); brothers, George Ferqueron, Jerry Ferqueron (Sherry), Terry Ferqueron (Lonita), and Ronnie Ferqueron (Sheila); grandchildren, Brad Willingham, Tabby Charping (Chase), J.T. Falls (Brooke), Jessica Garcia (Jose), Andrea Ashley (Chris), Michael Thomas Clary, Jr., Austin Willingham (Hannah), and Lindsey Minick (Chase); great grandchildren, Araya Bowers, Cash Charping, Rucker Charping, Lexa Garcia, Aubrey Falls, Alayna Willingham, Bentley Minick, Emsley Minick, Madi Rae Garcia, Macauley Minick, and Timothy Bowers; and great great grandchild, Ridge Clary.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tommy, she was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Ferqueron and a sister-in-law, Cookie Ferqueron.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matthew Woodyard officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be J.T. Falls, Chris Bowers, Chase Charping, Michael Clary, Jr., Chase Minick, and Bentley Minick.

The family will recieve friends before the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont for their love and care.

Pat's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, in the flowers that bloom each spring, and in every family gathering around the dinner table.
