Patricia "Pat" Ann Silcox Hunt, 77, formerly of 115 Kirby Drive, Ninety Six, widow of Clifton C. Hunt, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the Oaks at Greenwood.

Born in Palatka, FL, she was a daughter of the late Ernie DeLeon Silcox and Julia Mae Terry Hughes. Pat treasured her family and was always there for them. She embraced everyone who came into her life as part of her widespread family. She had a knack for making people feel welcomed and loved, never turning away anyone in need. A wonderful cook, she delighted in sharing her meals and her warmth, creating memories that her loved ones will always treasure. Pat was a member of First Baptist Church in Ninety Six. She was deeply committed to her faith and served her Lord and Savior with boundless devotion. A friend to many, she epitomized compassion and community, often brightening the lives of those around her with her kind spirit. Pat will be remembered not only for her nurturing nature but also for the joy and love she brought into the world. Her legacy of kindness will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her children, Inga Moore (Don), Laura Hunt, and Mark Hunt (Lisa); sister, Margaret Crews and Shirley Lee; brother, Jimmy Silcox; grandchildren, Kendell Martinez (Brandon), Brittany Able (Scott), Colin Moore, Kirsten Moore; and great grandchildren, Leila, Luca, Liam, Jolie, Lauren, and Kaitlyn.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Iris Knowles; two brothers, Charles Silcox and Ernie Silcox; granddaughter, Lisa Rayfield; and great grandson, Ryder.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of her son, Mark, 228 Greenway Drive, Greenwood, SC 29649.
