Patricia "Pat" Mooney Thomas, 76, of Greenwood, widow of Whitley Thomas, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital, AL.

Surviving are her son, Michael Thomas, Sr. and his wife Patricia of Gadsden, AL; her daughter, Dee Dee Thomas of New Hope, AL; a brother, Tommy Mooney of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Melanie Maddox and husband Adam of Boaz, AL., Michael Thomas, II and wife DeAnna of St. Peters, MO., and Jessica Shurden and husband Scott of Madison, AL.; three great grandchildren, Adalyn Maddox of Boaz, AL., Myla Thomas of St. Peters, MO., and Ethan Shurden of Madison, AL.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Annie Mooney; brother, Jack Mooney; sister, Glenda Brown; and great grandchild, Myles Judah Thomas.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Thomas II officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Scott Shurden, Jackie Mooney, Mark Mooney, Jamie Knight, Adam Maddox and Johnny Garren.

The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
