Patrick Henry Pruitt, Jr, of Cross Hill, husband of Karen Ann Allen Pruitt, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Charlotte, NC on July 10, 1944, raised in Belton, SC, he was the son of the late Patrick Henry Pruitt, Sr. and Mildred Roberts Pruitt.

A devoted husband, Patrick married the love of his life, Karen, on May 3, 1997. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with laughter and love, reflecting Patrick's vibrant spirit.

Patrick's professional journey was as remarkable as his personal life. An accomplished entrepreneur, he served as the CEO and Principal of Fox Meadows Medical Services from 2009 until March 2024. His career also spanned impressive roles as COO and Director at ASIMCO in Beijing, Vice President at AmBac in Columbia, SC, and Vice President at Fiat in Bari, Italy. Patrick's legacy in the manufacturing industry is remembered as one of innovation and leadership, highlighting his profound impact on those he worked with. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Patrick proudly served from 1964 to 1968, a testament to his commitment to his country. In addition to his service, he attended classes at The Citadel in Charleston, SC, embodying his pursuit of knowledge and excellence.

Patrick was very active in his faith, serving as the head of the Stewardship Committee at Coronaca Baptist Church. His love for his church and community rang deeply within him, where he derived strength and joy. His passion for life extended to enjoying the beauty of nature, often reflected in his love for flowers and gardening. He also loved living on the lake and cherished many "Coffee Cruises" with his family and friends.

Patrick was known for his radiant spirit and unwavering positivity. Whenever a friend would inquire about him, his delightful response was, "If I was any better, I'd be in Heaven," a testament to his joyful outlook on life.

In addition to his wife, Karen, he is survived by his children, Patrick H. Pruitt, III (Kim), Paul G. Pruitt, Kimberly Fulton (Jack), stepchildren, Matthew Denard (Paige), Thom Denard (Betsy); brothers, Josh Pruitt (Carol) and Zeb Pruitt (Adela); grandchildren, Tyler, Gracie, Kayla, Justin, Greta, and Henry Pruitt, Austin, Price, Kari, and Landen Denard, CJ and Reese Rogers; great grandchildren, Kensleigh Hinton, Kacy Pruitt, and Serenity Rogers.

He was preceded in death by a step son, Marcus Denard and brother, Christopher Pruitt (Gloria).

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at Coronaca Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Polatty officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the church.
