Lamar Paul Scott, 35, of 503 Fuller Road, Abbeville, SC, found his peace when he passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

Born in Greenwood, on September 3, 1981, he was a son of Debra Lynn and John Michael Wilson of the home and Lamar Carol Scott and Ladonna Hale of Greenville. Paul attended schools in Greenwood and Greenville and was employed by Gilmer Roofing.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Halie Wallace Scott of Greenwood; two sons, Lamar Jordan Scott of Greenwood and Skylar Jacob Scott of VA; two sisters, Miranda Lynn Scott of Liberty and Elizabeth Scott Hanks of Colorado; a niece and nephew, Jayden and Layla Clippard of Liberty; a grandfather, Kenneth Lee Conyers of Chappells; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Betty Fox and Walter Roy Scott and maternal grandparents Carl Henry Conklin and Joeleen Conyers.

Services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Chavis, Justin Land, Jason Gilmer, Scott Conklin, Mike Medlin and Steven Douglas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 to 3 pm.
