Raymond Paul Williams, 88 of 404 Draper Avenue, Greenwood, husband of Kathleen McCurry Williams went to be with his Savior on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Hospice House.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Luda Williams Gary. Paul retired from Greenwood Mills and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed playing the steel guitar for many years and was the oldest member of North Greenwood Church of God.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Williams Sidener.
Surviving in addition to his beloved wife of 63 years are his children, Kathy Coleman (Jerry), Mary Joyce Hopkins, both of Greenwood and Mike Williams (Sherry) of Newberry; eight grandchildren, Michael Proctor (Kelly), Glenn Proctor (Vanessa), Paula Blair (Mike), Charlie Coffee (Jamie), Janice Dill (Damien), B J Magaha, Miranda Magaha and Chris Turnburke (Ellisa); nine great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Saxon and Rev. Rick Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
