Obituary

Pauline �Miss Polly� Warren Manley, 76, of 4715 Highway 25 North, widow of James E. Manley, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Batesburg, she was a daughter of the late C. W. and Mamie Davis Warren. She was seamstress and employed by Emerald City Laundry for many years. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are three daughters, Sandy Woody and her husband, Roy, of Greenwood, Nancy Lawrence and Pat Hogan and her husband, Roger, all of Hodges; a son, Allan Manley and his wife, Susan, of Hodges; a brother, Roosevelt Warren of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Chris Hogan, Chris Manley, Sheila Sherer, Donna Plyler, Angie Bridges, Apache Lawrence, Marlana Bailey and Dan Grubbs and 15 great grandchildren.
