Peggy Marie Helton Clark, 78, of 2509 Highway 702, wife of Vernon Clark, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home.

Born in Oglethorpe, GA, she was a daughter to the late Hoyt Helton and Estee Hall. She retired as supervisor from Park Seed, was a member of the Greenwood Moose Lodge #834 with her husband for 34 years, and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Pam Wideman (Brian), Lynn Clark, both of Greenwood, and John Clark (Monica) of Richmond, TX; a sister Betty Mason of Anderson; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death two sisters, Diane Satterwhite and Helen Brown and a brother, Gary Helton.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Honorary escort will be the women of the Moose Lodge #834.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
