Perry Wayne Hastings, 64, of 909 Willard Road, husband of Jimmie Dawn Shaw Hastings, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Paul W. Hastings and Rilla Waites Hastings. Perry was a U. S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam Era. He the owner of J & P Lamp Company and was a member of South Main Street Baptist Church where he was in the Adult Sunday school class. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Brandon Hastings. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his grandchildren: Hayden Alyssa Hastings, Brandon Cole Hastings, Lillie Elizabeth Hastings, Erica Douglas and Paige Douglas; a special nephew, Clint Douglas (Tracy) and nephew, Craig Douglas. Pallbearers will be Ricky Landrith, Chris Clem, Sym Singh, Gary Nelson, Andy Johnson and Kevin Prater. Honorary escort will be Sports Break friends and staff.
