Phyllis Campbell Canfield, 88, of 103 Ronnie Drive, Greenwood, widow of Amos Watson Canfield, Jr., died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hospice House.

Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late Jimmy and Estelle Steadman Campbell. Phyllis was a graduate of Anderson College and was the former office manager for The Index-Journal. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church where she was served church treasurer.

Surviving are her son, Tyler Canfield (Paula) of Abbeville; and her sister, Peggy Cann (Billy) of Calhoun Falls.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ashley McCoy-Bruce and Rev. Craig Scott officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 2-3 pm.
