Phyllis Wanise Coleman Maloy, 68, of Waterloo, wife of Aubrey Lee Maloy, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
Born in Beaufort, SC, she was a daughter of the late James C. and Peggy Patterson Coleman. Phyllis was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was part owner of Maloy Construction and was an avid Gamecock fan.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine "Sissy" Eisenhardt.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are a son, Josh Cook (Rona) of Greenwood; stepchildren: Jenna Maloy Garner (Parker), Catherine Maloy-Gutierrez (Sid), both of Gray Court and Taylor Maloy (Emily) of Woodruff; her siblings: Gloria "Nicky" Neill (Bill) of Beaufort, Sandy Gail Furtick of Orangeburg, Jerry Coleman (Kathy), Rodger Coleman, both of Greenwood, and Tony Coleman of Orangeburg; a granddaughter, Halie Cook Duncan (Dean) of Greenwood; step grandchildren: Colby Maloy, Noah Garner, Olivia Maloy and Lucas Garner; a great granddaughter, Katherine Isabella Duncan; and best friend, Judy Nicholson.
Services will be held at 1pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Nix officiating. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Following the service, a reception in honor of Phyllis will be held at the home, 274 Relax Street, Waterloo, SC 29384.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8pm.
