Rodger "Rabbit" Brabham Vines, 66, of 326 Country Pond Road, Ninety Six, husband of Carolyn Temples Vines, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Arthur Brabham Vines, Jr. and Gaynelle Jones Driggers. Rabbit was formerly employed with Greenwood Mills for 35 years where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and worked for Eaton's Cooper Power Systems. He was of the Holiness faith.

He was preceded in death by a son, Craig Vines; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are three daughters, Dawn Coates (Cale Corley) of Ninety Six, Kacey Pursley (Edward) of Abbeville and Cindy Getsinger (Wade) of Greenwood; a sister, Vickie Fox of Ninety Six; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel, where the family will receive friends following the service.
