Rachel �Nanny� Hilley Blum, 87, of 402 Saco Avenue, widow of Malcom Leroy Blum, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Alfred and Vesta Elizabeth Hilley Hilley. She was retired from Greenwood Mills, Plant No. 5, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club and the Plant No. 4 Mother�s Club. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Johnny Rhodes of Greenwood; special sister-in-law, Katherine �Kit� Hilley of Greenwood; granddaughters, Amy (Jim) Truelove and Heather (Brian) King of Ninety Six, Taylor Rhodes and Morgan Rhodes of Greenwood; step granddaughter, Kayce (Tony) Morris of Ninety Six; great grandsons, Gavin Truelove, Landon King, Luke and Kyle Morris, all of Ninety Six and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, John D. �Bud� Hilley and Michael E. Hilley.
