Rachel Farmer Griffin, 84, of 451 D Grace Street, widower of Eugene Griffin, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Hospice House. Born in Westminster, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Lillian Wilson Farmer. Rachel retired from Torrington and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is a stepson, Buddy Griffin of Laurens; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Ball of Tennessee; son-in-law, David E. Johnson of Greenwood; and two grandchildren, Sheena Beckham and Joseph Johnson, both of Greenwood; and two great grandchildren, Cameron Wade Beckham and Brandon Caleb Beckham. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patsy Griffin Johnson and a sister, Christine Armstrong of Virginia. The family is at the home of Sheena Beckham, 205 Kingston Road.
