Rachel Godfrey Harrison, 86, of 521 Bolt Avenue, wife of Elbert Earl Harrison, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Emerald Gardens. Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Arthur and Inez Howard Godfrey. She retired from Greenwood Mills, Durst Plant, after 44 years of service and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Mathews United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and Circle #1. Surviving is her husband of the home; a daughter, Deborah H. �Debbie� Callison and her husband, Pete, of Lincolnton, NC; a son, Perry �Pete� Harrison and his wife, Kathy, of McDonough, GA; daughter-in-law, Pat Harrison Colquitt of Griffin, GA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Earl Harrison; a sister, Irene G. McClain and a brother, James Ray Godfrey.
