Rachel Jones McAllister, 76, of 2403 Hill Street, North Myrtle Beach and formerly of Waterloo, wife of James Ronald "Jimmy" McAllister, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Grand Strand Medical Center.

Born in Bowman, GA, she was a daughter of the late Randolph and Geneva Hall Jones. She was retired from Walmart Distribution Center and was a member of Bethlehem Union Church.

Surviving is her husband of the home; a daughter, Jennifer McAllister of Cherry Grove; three sons, Roger McAllister (Diane) and Jason McAllister, both of Cherry Grove and Randy McAllister (Barbara) of Ninety Six; two sisters, Edna Holloway and Lavonia Haynes, both of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael McAllister and her brother, Rev. Morris Jones.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Union Church with the Rev. Steven Miller and James Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the deacons of Bethlehem Union Church.

The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family is at the home of a granddaughter, Amy Roland, 946 Old Oak Tree Road, Waterloo.
