Racine Sullivan, 81, of 101 Billee Street, husband of Linda Sullivan died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in McBee, SC, he was a son of the late James Curtis Sullivan, Sr. and Elsie Clay Sullivan. Ray was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a retired construction worker with Daniel Construction where he worked for 48 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, Stanley Ray (Rhonda) Sullivan of Greenwood; a daughter, Deborah Sullivan Denny of Westminster; two step sons, Mitchell Simpson of Greenwood and Julius Simpson of Antreville; four sisters, Joyce Horton of McBee, Jennie Sorice, Ann Howle and Diane Griggs all of Hartsville; eighteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Willie Sullivan, Earl Sullivan, Donald Ray Horton, Dink Horton, Jimmy Cabb, Thad Denny, Tyler Sullivan and Trevor Sullivan. The family is at their home.
