Simeon Ralph Robinson, Jr., 88, of 406 Brown Street, husband of Wilma Butler Robinson, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Hospice House. Born in Leicester, NY, he was the son of the late Simeon Ralph Robinson, Sr. and Ada Ackley Robinson. Mr. Robinson was the owner of Ralph�s Upholstery Shop prior to retirement in 1988. He was a WWII Army veteran where he received the Purple Heart and a member of McCormick First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eve Robinson Stortz. Surviving in addition to his wife of 65 years are a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and David Jones, of Marietta; a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Betsy Robinson of Ninety Six; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice House, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
