Obituary

Randolph "Randy" Tiller. 74, of Greenwood, beloved husband of Shirlyne Ouzts Tiller, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home.

Born in Florida, he was a son of the late William and Vernice Hardy Tiller. Randy was known for his loyalty and strong character and was a proud Vietnam veteran, having served in the Air Force. He was an active member of the Emerald Baptist Church, where he participated in the Royal Ambassadors (RA) program and was a deacon, demonstrating his commitment to faith and community. In his younger years, Randy was known for his athleticism and love of the outdoors, particularly enjoying hunting.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Davis.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Alan Davis, Will Tiller (Kristy) and Tracy McCoy (Chris); siblings, Pam Driver, David Tiller, Harry Tiller; grandchildren, Amber Davis, Brittany Baker (Eric), Cade Davis, Kaitlyn Tiller, Nathan Tiller, Madeline McCoy and Sam McCoy; great grandchildren, Ethan Tellock, Kailyne Tellock, Hattie Marie Baker and Leighton Ann Baker; and a special nephew, Daniel Jackson (Brooke) and his children, Levi Jackson and Josephine Jackson.

Services will be held 2 pm on Wednesday, at Emerald Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig McDaniel and Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Terry Boone, Wayne Whatley, Ken Mattison, Rhett McDowell, Michael Beard, Gary Owensby, Rick Scott and Chuck Swofford.

The family will receive friends before the service at the church from 1-2 pm.
