Ray Leon "Doc " Chrisley, 73, of 2220 Montague Ave. Ext Lot 59, husband of Beverly Ann Sutherland Chrisley, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Ninety Six, he was a son of the late Johnnie and Nellie Mae Chancey Chrisley. Doc retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Salvation Army Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, Jewell, Robert and Donald Chrisley. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Eva Shaw of Greenwood; special dog, Frank; two sisters, Jeanette Turner of Ninety Six and Sue Westmoreland of Swansboro, NC; four brothers, Leroy Chrisley of Ninety Six, James Chrisley of Joanna, John Chrisley (Ernestine) and Chester Chrisley (Vickie) both of Saluda; three grandchildren, Nykole Ellison of Charleston, Amber Day and Jessica Ellison, both of Greenwood; four great grandchildren, Skyler and Macy Andrews, Luke Lenning and Tristan Guzman, all of Greenwood; and special friend, Susie Lawton. Pallbearers will be Jamie Carroll, Thomas Carroll, Jerry Ellison, Brad Day, Ray Cooper and John Alexander, Jr. Honorary escort will be his friends at BINGO.
