Donald Ray Lewis, 80, of Greenwood, husband of Claudia McFerrin Lewis, passed away
Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Self Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Born in Greenwood County June 6, 1943, he was the son of the late Martin Edward and
Frances Kathleen Wilkerson Lewis.

Ray was a great entrepreneur and successful business owner, owning and operating several
different businesses in the greater Greenwood area. Ray enjoyed fishing, gardening and
camping. He loved spending time with his family. He was a hardworking and fun-loving father,
grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Claudia of the home; children, Susan Lewis Stone of
Greenwood, Virginia Blake "Jinger" Lewis-Randall (Christina), Donald Ray "Donnie" Lewis II
(Robin) both of Simpsonville, and Tiffany Paige Lewis (Summer), of Greenwood; sister, Priscilla
Joan Parham of Donalds; grandchildren, Richard Blake Stone (Lauren), Tanner Bryce Stone
(McKenzie), Audrey Elizabeth Wilson, Ava Denise-McFerrin Lewis, Elijah Mitchell Lewis,
Jackson Dixon-Randall, Kayden Jace Berry, and Rome McFerrin Randall; three great
grandchildren, Alex, Andy, and Allen Ray Stone; and many nieces and nephews to cherish his
precious memories, along with his beloved dogs.

There will be a celebration of life on September 23, friends will be received from 10am until noon at Grange Hall. The family will be received from 1pm until 5pm also at Grange Hall.
