Rebecca "Becky" Adams DeVore, 86, of Fairhope, Alabama, widow of George Thomas DeVore, Jr., passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday April 15, 2017.

Born in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lovic Seaborn Adams and Hoke Smith Dickerson Adams. Becky was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. A long-time resident of Greenwood, Connie Maxwell Children's Home had a special place in her heart due to her parent's involvement with Connie Maxwell throughout the years.

Surviving are a daughter, Claire West and her husband, Todd, of Fairhope, AL; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum from 10 to 11 am. Graveside services will follow at 11 am with the Rev. Miller Murphy officiating.
