Obituary
Richard "Rick" Herbert Dropps, 68, of 212 Sagewood Road, husband of Sabrina Roush Dropps, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Crosby, MN, he was a son of the late Herbert Mike Dropps and Wanda Jane Halvorsen Kortekaas. He was employed with American Termapest for thirty-eight years and was a US Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina of the home; children, Michael Dropps (Merci) of Chapin and Corrie Turner (Elijah McCallister) of Ninety Six; sister, Linda Kaz of Pine River, MN; brothers, Mike Dropps of Hill City, MN and Bert Kortekaas, Jr. of Minnesota; grandchildren, Milo Dropps, Cora Dropps, Colton McCallister, Nicholas Weisert, Roland Reeves, and Ian Reeves; and stepfather, Bert Kortekaas, Sr.
He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Dropps and stepmother, Barb Dropps.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
