Larry P. "Rick" Moorhead, Jr., 63 of 108 Carlton Street, Greenwood, husband of Teresa Moorhead, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Larry P. Moorhead, Sr. and Jean Floyd Moorhead. Rick was formerly employed by F. L. Aerospace and attended Newspring Church. He also was involved with Narcotics Anonymous.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Roberts.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Patrick Moorhead (Lyndsey) and Sheridan Ash (Joel); a sister, Pam Ritter (Bill); two brothers, Andy Moorhead and John Moorhead, all of Anderson; and four grandchildren, Sophia Moorhead, Lyla Moorhead, Corbin Ash and Jackson Ash.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Shirley officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 5 to 6 pm.

The family is at the home of Kim and Larry Hasting, 102 Coldwater Drive, Ninety Six.
