Richard Charles Parson, 62 of 111 Eight Point Drive, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of Janet Martha Wolle Parson and the late Walter Charles Parson. Rick was a U. S. Navy veteran having served during Vietnam and worked for Midas of Greenwood. His passion was fishing in the Florida Keys and loved all animals especially his dog, Lady. Surviving are two sisters, Joy Lisa Lecompte of Greenwood and Kim Erickson of Dallas, TX; nieces: Kristina Capone of San Diego, Misty Lecompte of Santa Clarita, CA, Jessica Jimenez and Elizabeth Lecompte, both of Greenwood; a nephew, Nicholas Lecompte of USC; great nieces and nephews, Alyssia Moon, Hadassah Jimenez, Gabriel Lecompte and Olivia White. Family members are at their respective homes.
