Robert Smith Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Terrell Smith, Jr., 83, of 112 Merriman Avenue, widower of Mary Helen Johnson Smith, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home.
Born in McCormick County, he was the son of the late, Robert Terrell Smith, Sr. and Onnie Turnage Smith. He retired from Greenwood Mills after 45 years, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Robert was a very hard worker and loved gardening.
Surviving are his children, Bobby Lee Smith (Michele) and Joyce Dodgen (James); sister, Ruby Devore (Jimmy); and granddaughter, Hope Dodgen, all of Greenwood.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Al Kissiah officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Jennelle Stiefle, 142 Roman Circle, Greenwood, SC 29649.
