Donald Rock Goldman, 74, of 1014 Highway 248 South, Ninety Six, husband of Mary Ann Ginn Goldman, died on Monday, October 29, 2012 at Hospice House. Born in Ninety Six, he was a son of the late J. C. and Flora Pitts Goldman. He retired from Monsanto and, following his retirement, was employed by Harley Funeral Home and Crematory. He served in the US Air Force. Rock was an active member of Ninety Six Church of God, where he served in several capacities including choir director, council member and coached the mens softball team. He was a member of the Adult Sanctuary Class and the Men's Fellowship Group. Rock was loved by all and will be greatly missed by those that he always took the time to help by transporting to doctor's appointments, sharing meals or driving senior and youth groups on trips. Surviving is his wife of the home; his daughters, Darla Goldman (Doug Alexander) of Ninety Six, Dana Goldman of the home and Debbie Goldman of Greenwood; his son, Don Goldman of Shepherd, TX; brothers, Ned Goldman (Theon) of Albany, OR and Ted Goldman (Marie) of Ninety Six; grandchildren, Dusty Goldman and Nicole Barrackman (Daniel), all of Shepherd, TX, Cayla Fernandez (Jesse) of Leesville, LA, Kevin Goldman (Jennifer) and Drew Wilson, all of Ninety Six; 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Goldman, and brothers, James Goldman, Leonard Goldman, Ott Goldman, Rudolph Goldman, Curt Goldman, Kenneth Goldman, Dean Goldman, Tommy Goldman and Joe Goldman.
