Rockford "Rocky" Scott Boland, 63, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his home.

Rocky was born on April 18, 1962, in Greenwood, where he spent his entire life making a lasting impact on his community. A dedicated fireman with the City of Greenwood, he faithfully served for many years before retiring. His commitment to the safety and well-being of others extended beyond his professional career, as he volunteered with several fire departments in the area, always ready to lend a hand when duty called. He enjoyed hunting, spending time in the outdoors and gatherings with his family. Rocky was a member of Hickory Tavern Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Jamie Boland; his mother, Patsy Vaughn Church his father and stepmother, Karon and Belinda Boland; children, Timothy Boland (Hannah), Aaron Boland (Kristin), Danielle Galloway (John), Brianna Boland (Grace), and Ashley Worth (Carl); a sister, Sharon Hoagland (Leif); and ten grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, at Hickory Tavern Church of God.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

The family is at the home of Tim & Jane Simmons in Ridgewood Harbor, Waterloo.
