John Rodney Ellenburg, 43, of 107 Boston Terrier Road, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at the Hospice House.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Johnny and Cherri Clem Ellenburg. He worked for the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office in the booking department and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Mignon S. Ellenburg; and grandparents, Fred and Ophelia Ellenburg, Walter and Lois Sweezy, and Aaron Clem.

Surviving are his parents; his two sisters, Jennifer Fleming (Kevin) and Stephanie Green (Stacey) all of Ninety Six; his grandmother, JoAnn Clem of Greenwood; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. J.L. "Sam" Watkins and Brian Brock officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
