John "Rodney" Kinard, 52, of 3014 County Farm Road, Lot #5, husband of Rebia Marilyn Cockrell Kinard, died Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Thelma Mae Prater Kinard and the late Andrew John Kinard, Jr. He was employed by the city of Greenwood.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home and his mother of Ninety Six, are his daughter, Jenifer Nicole Ergle of Saluda; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Quarles (Kyle) of Greenwood; two sisters, Janice Green of Enoree, Barbie Jean Kinard Smith of Greenwood; a brother, Randall Allen Kinard (Cathy) of Pelion; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
