Roger D. Duvall, 72, resident of Richard M Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, Anderson, widower of Frankie Sue White Duvall, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at ANMED Medical Center.
Born in Piedmont, he was a son of the late Talmadge and Ruth Edna Galloway Duvall. He served in the US Navy for eighteen years and was a member of Fountain of Life Worship Center.
Surviving are his sister, Judy Myers (Carlis) of Greenwood; brother, Gary Duvall (Gayle) of Patrick; niece, Lawanna St. Peter (Duane); nephews, Joshua Myers (Amanda), Jason Myers, Timothy Duvall, and James Duvall; and four great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Daniel Duvall.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robbie Brissey and Rev. Julian Galloway officiating. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Myers, Jason Myers, Tim Simmons, Timothy Boland, Lin Lowery, and Chris Lowery.
Honorary escort will be Timothy Duval, James Duvall, and Raymond Duvall, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
