Roger Dale Worthington, Sr., 61, of Greenwood, husband of Angie Morris, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Arthur Worthington, Sr. and Jack & Virginia Compton Bladon. Roger was a heavy equipment operator and loved to play drums. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and working on small engines.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children: Roger Worthington, Jr. (Christine), Magen Craig (Buck), Jessica Crocker and Josh Crocker; brothers, Tony Worthington (Kathy) and Artie Worthington, Jr.; grandchildren, Abbi Craig, Bryleigh Craig, Destiny Reed, Journey Reed and Eric Reed, Jr.; great grandchild, Cylvia Freeman; nieces and nephews, Amy Evans, Ashley Worthington, Shelby Culbertson and Artie Worthington, III; special cousins, Millie, JJ, Justin and Kevin; and many more beloved friends and family.

He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Cathy "Miss C" Worthington and his beloved dog, Heartbeat.

Services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be JJ Johnson, Mike Major, Chris Culbertson, Terry Lecroy, C J Jennings, David Dill and Tim Adams.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 1-2pm.
