Ronald �Ronnie� William Dow, 73, husband of Rebecca Mayson Dow, died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late John Paul and Minna Lois Rauton Dow. Ronnie graduated from Greenwood High School and retired from Dow Commercial Refrigeration. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, where he served in the Cuban Crisis. He was a member of Mathews Lodge #358, the Hejaz Shrine Temple, First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, and attended Chapel in the Pines. Surviving are his wife of the home; a daughter, Rhonda Dow Merritt (Mark) of Anderson; a son, William Paul Dow of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Preston Dow of Lexington and Gillian Merritt of Anderson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Calhoun Dow; and a twin, Donald Franklin Dow. Pallbearers will be Jim Brown, Stanley Scott, Jimmy O�Bryant, Freddie Sexton, Tommie Yon, Ken Saylors and Bill Cockrell. Honorary escort will be Mathews Lodge #358.
