Ronald Keith Attaway, 68, passed away on May 24, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Greenwood, SC, he was a son of the late Harvey Junior Attaway, and Etrulia Reeves Webb.

Ronald worked in manufacturing and enjoyed tinkering and working with his hands. In his younger years he was an outstanding pitcher for Greenwood Parks and Recreation. Cutting grass and taking care of his yard was one of his favorite past times. Ronald also enjoyed acting as the "neighborhood Grandpa", helping the kids when their bikes needed repairs and providing much appreciated popsicles. He will be missed by many.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Etrulia; daughter, Martha Parks; son, Eric Attaway; grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaylin Baum; sisters, Carol Ann A. Barrett, and Cindy Attaway; and brother, Robert Attaway (Candy)

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM at New Market Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Stanley Sprouse. The family will receive friends an hour before the service.
