Rosemary Compton Davis, 95, of Greenwood, widow of Harold Eugene Davis, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at her home.
Born in Ninety Six, SC, she was a daughter of the late Willis Ezra Compton and Emmie Alice Waits Compton.
Rosemary attended the College of Commerce in Greenwood, paving the way for her early career at the Sloan plant in Ninety Six, where she dedicated many years of service. She was well-known for her longtime work as an Avon representative, where she reached the esteemed President's Club, reflecting her commitment and love for beautifying her community. She also found joy in exploring the local Jockey Lot and flea markets. As a faithful member of the Ninety Six Church of God, Rosemary found strength and solace in her faith, which guided her throughout her life.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Vera Carroll and Joseph Compton.
Surviving is a son, Scott Davis and her best friend and sister-in-law, Becky Davis.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Elmwood Cemetery.
